I really did not learn anything on the reading oat. The only thing is that I needed more detail and less opinions.
The multuple choice was the easiest for me.
The part that was most difficult for me was the extended response.
To go back in the passage. And to read stuff all the way thourgh.
I think we should know more about context clues.

I learned that if the practice test is that hard then the real test will be even harder. I also learned that if the practice test is that long then the real test is going to be even longer.
The practice test was not easy for me. I missed a lot of questions.
The most difficult questions on the test was the extended response.
I think that I could make my score better by taking my time and doing everything Mr. McGuire taught us.
I think you should know that the test is extra hard and it puts a lot of pressure on us.

You must have topic sentences.
some of the multiple choice was easy.
The extended responses were hard.
Write topic sentences and, write in complete sentences. Check and, see if you answered every question.
Go back and get correct information from the passage.

I learned that they grade different and when they grade if its not on the paper its not right at all. So its a lot harder than I thought.
Yeah because some of the on some questions you just had to use common since.
The extended response because of different grading methods.
Probably reading a book and answering some questions and writing a summery about it.
Really thats all. It wasn't that hard.

Some things I learned when I took the reading OAT are:

1) One thing is I learned that I needed to have more specific details.

2) A specific detail from number 1 is I wasn't putting enough details from the passage so I got mostly zeros on the extended responses.
Some things that were easy for me are:

1) Some of the multiple choice questions.

That's practically all that was easy.
I really didn't have anything difficult other than how many numbers to put on my extended response.
What would help just to keep getting help.
I don't know. It was kind of hard.

I learned on that if you underline in the passage you don't have to spend to much time on one question.
I thought that the short answer was easy when I took the practice OAT.
The part that I thought that was difficult was were you had to find out what the word meant.
I think that if I took a little more time on the extended responses that I would of got a better score.
nothing

The thing I learned about taking the OAT is it was kind of hard. What I did was I thought back about what I learned and thats how I got trough the test. I think i could have done better and I am going to do better on the real OAT!
The thing that was easy for me was all that I had to do was think back to what we did in class and I remembered what we did and the things you told us to do and so I did that.
The part that was difficult was i didn't like to read the long passages. There was to much information for the questions.
I think what would help me score better on it is to not worry so much about it and tel myself as long as I do good I will pass.
I don't know what you should know about it I think you almost got us ready.

When I took the reading achievement test I learned that i needed to take my time. I learned this because when I got my Answer document back from the practice achievement test i seen the my extended responses were not that great. So I looked back to see what was so wrong with them and I seen many mistakes like:

1. Not the right punctuation.

2. Not enough information.

3. And just stuff that did not make sense.

So I learned that people not just me should go back and re-read check again.
I think that multiple choice was easier than anything because it did not ask for more than one question. That is what I thought was the easiest.
I thought that all of the extended responses were hard.
If I go over and check my answers when i am done .
We need help on extended responses.

I learned that I can pass the real oat. I also learned that Mr.McGuire is a great teacher.
The easy thing for me was some of the extended response. I thought it was easy because because I knew how to do them.
The extended response was a little bit hard for me. Some of the multipliable choice were hard for me also.
If I re-read more and high light more. That would help me.
How hard it will be. Also how big it will be.

I learned how good I really am. At first I thought I was not going to pass. Another thing I learned on the OAT is how you really go back in the passage and highlight important words. At first I thought you highlight words that are big and you know. Then you told me how to highlight. Your supposed to highlight words you know and words that are important like the W's word.
The extended responses I think were the easiest. The reason I think this is you number and go back to the passage for the answer. They also were not worded weirdly.
The answer choices were hard. they were worded weirdly. I could not understand the questions that asked what the meaning of the word is.
It would help me better if you could teach me how to highlight important words.
I think the reading OAT would be easier if it wasn't worded weirdly. can you teach us what the words mean?

What I learned was to underline keywords. Plus reread the questions.
The easy part was the shroter passages and looking back in the passage.
The part I thought was hard was the big words.
To have people read all the questions to me and the answers.
nothing.

what I learned by taking the OAT test is to take my time, and to read everything. Also to use all the time I need, not just to rush threw it.
The thing that was easy for me was the multiple choice questions. The reason I think it was easy is because you don't have to worry about making sure you didn't leave anything out, all you have to do is fill in a bubble.
The most difficult for me was the extended response questions because I didn't know if i was getting everything that the question asked. Mainly because I didn't read the passage enough times for it to sink in.
I think that if I really slow down and read everything more than once I should do a lot better. Also I think that if I really think more about the question, then I should be fine,
Nothing really, just everyone should read carefully and do everything the question asks. Also pay attention to the passage, read that carefully too.

I learned that I should go back and find the answers in the paragraph so I can get a better score on extended responses.
The selection about frogs was the most easiest because everything was sorted into subsections. The answers were easy to find.
The hard part was the extended response. I missed 4 points total on all the extended response.
I really can't think of anything. It is fine like it is.
I could have scored better if I went back to the paragraph. You should teach cause and effect again. I know it but I can't remember it that well.

Some things that I learned from taking the practice Reading test. Are are were hard and some were easy.
The most easiest part on the test was the multiple choose questions. Also reading the passages, but some of the passages were hard because most of them were long. I liked the short ones the best.
The most difficult part of the test was the extended response questions. I don't like extended responses because they are really hard for me, but I do like some of them I only like them if I understand them though.
If we went over everything again before we took the test.
Maybe what type of questions are in there.

I leaned that you don't have to be nerves when you take the test try to not be it makes the test a lot easer if you are nerves it makes it harder than it really is.
The easy part of the whole test is the multiple choice questions the reason why is because you have things to chose out of if I don't get the questions if you eliminate answer it is easy to get the answer
The ones the were difficult were the extended response because some of them I really did not get a all. Some made no sense to me.
What would help me was if I would have had more time to go over it again .
I think I should have done better but I passed it at least.

I learned that the OAT is not going to be as easy as last years. It is going to be a lot harder.
The easiest thing for me taking the practice Reading OAT was the multiple choose questions.
The extended response questions were the most difficult for me to do.
More practice at extended response questions would help me score better.
I think we need to practice a lot more for the Reading OAT.

I learned that when I take my time and think about the question I get a good grade.
The easiest thing for me was the multiple choose question and putting my name.
The most difficult prate for me was the extended response question.
More practice and a bottle of water should help me.
I would like to know if it is harder and longer than the practice Reading OAT test!

Something that I learned when taking the Reading Oat was that the questions are worded different. There were a few questions that didn't make much sense to me so i took a little longer on them.
The easiest thing about the Reading test was the multiple choice. Though some of the questions were worded weird I still figured most of them out.
The most difficult part of the reading test for me, was the extended responses. Most of them I did not do very well on. I will be working a lot harder on the extended responses.
Something that would help me score better on the OAT would be the extended responses. Most of them are worth a lot of points so if u don't do well on them it can really bring your grade down. I bet if I took longer I would score better on the extended responses.
Some other information that you should know about the OAT is that it is difficult to work in a loud area. Most of the people in my class were very quiet, but in other classes it may be different. I still think that we need to work on extended responses more.

I learned that it won't be easier to take this year. Because the difficulty of the problems on it but not all was hard.
Almost all the questions was extremely easy to take even the extended response questions was easy to take.
The fact that some of the questions was hard to understand.
Not having the room so packed. Because it seemed like the air was harder to take in like we kept breathing the same used air over and over again. Plus the atmosphere or the space around me was to thick and dense.
It might take a longer time for me to finish it next time.

I learned that i can do the test with out get in mad
The reading. I did not think i was going to be able to read it without any help but i did.
The extended response.

what I learned taking the practice reading OAT is that it was to see how well you would do on the real oat test.
I think the easiest part was reading the passages.
I think the hardest part was the written response.
for it to be a lot quiter in the class.
I thought it was kind of hard and kind of not.

That Ineed to slow down just a little bit.
The bubble in portion because they give you choices instead of you doing it yourself .
The Open-ended because it were the one you didn't have choices.
to check over them better so i don't get as many wrong.
That I better understanding what to highlight.

What I learned from taking the practice Reading OAT is that it's not as hard as you think it would be. It was actually a little easy, but one thing that could of helped me out more is going back and numbering in the selection.
Some things that were easy for me on the test was multiple choice it was easy because if you just go back and read it's right there.
Some things that were a little hard was the extended response because I didn't underline a lot.
What would probably help me score better on the OAT test is by doing more questions with the partners and just the papers that we've been doing.
What I think you need to know is, that when we have mints, gum, we do better.

I learned that taking the practice Reading OAT was that the test is just show you what your score might be on the real OAT. And that the test really is not that hard you just have to take your time and re-read the questions and re-read the passage.
The easiest part was the multiple choice. The multiple choice was the easiest because all of the answers were in the passage.
The extend response questions were the hardest. They were the hardest because they took the longest and the answers were not right in the passage.
The top thing that would help me score better is mints or maybe GUM =).
You should know that Reading OAT is really EASY.

I learn the do not forget that we are doing the test for our school.
It was easy in the begging of the test because it was quiet in the morning but when it was after lunch every one was
It was difficult because every one was talking in the room and there were peresher.
Having more time and help and and being in a room that was quite.
No

I learned that not all extended responses are that easy to do.
Um...the multiple choice questions. But they were not as easy as I expected.
No thinking necessary for this one! The extended response, boy were they hard! I was hoping that the test was easer though.
Maybe if I um.... I think..... if I.....underlined more that's it! Yeah if I underlined the important details from the passages I'm sure I would of got a better score. But I'm happy with what I got!
I think we should work more on the responses. Because I heard at least 3 or 4 people say that the responses were hard, and they were I can't lie.
P.S. On the scale I what to rate it 6 1/2 BUT I can't, so I'm just going to put in 6.

I learned that if you take your time and slow down you get more questions right, even if you are the last one.
The multiple choice was the easiest for me on the OAT.
The most difficult part of the test for me was the extended response, but when I really thought about it I got what the question was asking.
Doing a mini Ach. packet the having the class grade it but you give the finale grade, like we did with the OAT. That is what would help me score better on the OAT.
Check the practice ones before you give it to the students half of it might not be printed out.

What I learned from the oat test was to get specific details from the paseg.
What I think was easy was the fill in the bubble.
The part that was difficult was the extended responds.
To help me get a better score is be in a group that is quiet.
What ells you should know is that I cant be with a group that talks.

I learned about using your time wisely. I learned this because I was using a highlighter and I thought it would disturb people. I tried to do it quietly, but I now realize that I should have underline instead!
I think that the fictional passages were easiest.
the non-fiction passages was the hardest I think. I have a hard time trying to keep on the story. I spent most of my time trying to go back and figure them out, (unlike I did with the fiction passages.)
I would probably score better if I had gum to chew. If I can't have gum, (I like to eat,) than I can probably want something to eat.
I also think we should do hands on activities instead.

I learned that there are going to be some unexpected questions on the OAT, and that I have to be prepared for it!!!! I also learned that if you don't read the Question carefully you have a better chance of missing it!
I thought that the "what does this word mean" questions where the most easy ones. I think that I am really good at the 2 point extended response! I think what really slowed me down was the long reading passages. I think I just woke up that MONDAY morning not thinking striate! I dislike Mondays!!! :(
I thought that the 4 point extended response questions were really hard for some reason!?! I mean I was really disappointed in what I received on those but O'well. I have a passing grade!!!!
I think that if I would have went back and checked my answers, I would have done better.
I think that you should know that if you are going to give us a practice OAT then tell us please!!!

Something that I learned is that sometimes you just need to slow down so that you can get a better grade I also learned that next time I should probably take my time.
Two thins that were easy about taking the practice reading OAT are:
1)One thing that was easy about taking the practice OAT is reading the passages.

2)Another thing that was easy is restating the questions on the extended response.
I really didn't think that anything in the practice reading OAT was hard except that it was morning time and I was tired and cold.
Some things that would help me score on the OAT are restating the question, taking my time , and going back in the passage.
Something that you should know about is that practicing restating the question really helped
